Listing title - limit to X number of characters?

Listing title - limit to X number of characters?

How many chars can be entered in listing title? I noticed that some titles are shortened on some sites, but I can't find anywhere how many chars can be entered...

Anyone knows? wink

These days the stars seem out of reach...

looking at the table the field is a TEXT field and there is no limit set. good question. not sure then. there is noting in the code limiting that value.
this from a MySQL article "Today’s scary discovery: MySQL TEXT fields have a limit of 65,000 bytes"

Al, thanks. I think that limit of listing title is much less than 65.000 bytes. smile

I think it's maybe 30-50 chars or something like that, but don't know for sure.
